Prime Health holds monthly Denver Meetups to advance digital healthcare innovation in Colorado. Their March venue was graciously provided by TAXI, a mixed-use community that is “home to a number of full time residents and over 80 creative businesses.”

After the networking session, moderator Dr. Dan Feiten MD, FAAP introduced a panel discussion on "The Physician Perspective: How digital health is changing the physician’s job and perceived needs."

Dan Feiten MD, FAAP is President & Co-Founder of Greenwood Pediatrics, “the first practice in the US to include Symptom Checker” on its website, as well as the “first to provide its patients with a digital answering service.” He is also President & Founder of RemedyConnect which produces “a suite of web, mobile, and after-hours tools that serves over 2.4 million patients.” His digital health interests include UI/UX, as well as patient workflows, team workflows, and after-hours care.

Emergency Physician and CEO of Ergentus Telemedicine, Kevin McGarvey, M.D., M.B.A., F.A.C.E.P. has 15 years experience in digital health startups and venture capital. His digital health interests include “developing telemedicine partnerships, seed funding, and provider partnerships for new apps.”

As Director of Strategy Management at Kaiser Permanente, Liz Kah, M.D. identifies her company’s key digital health priorities. She also serves as a health industry consultant with the Boston Consulting Group in both Mergers & Acquisitions and Strategic Planning. Her digital health interests include “care anywhere, care anytime” and self-monitoring.

Neale Lange, M.D. is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Disorders. He is a partner at Critical Care Pulmonary & Sleep Associates, and the Sleep Lab Medical Director of St. Anthony Hospital in Denver. His interests include exploring digital health’s impact on the doctor-patient relationship, along with its ability to deliver “one to many” care.

Business development executive Jeffrey Nathanson opens the session on Prime Health's vision for Colorado’s Digital Innovation Ecosystem. Prime Health is a statewide non-profit organization that is dedicated to representing “emerging digital health technologies as a path to achieving the Triple Aim of improved health and patient engagement at a lower per-capita cost.” Jeffrey is very active fostering digital health entrepreneurship in Colorado.

"After earning two degrees from Stanford University as a full-ride scholarship student-athlete," Mike Biselli "has been focused on building an innovative and entrepreneurial healthcare career. He has been in the healthcare field for over a decade. Most recently, Mike has been working with government, academia, non-profit organizations, and private entities to envision and develop a health technology innovation campus in north central Denver.”

Jeffrey Nathanson closed the March Meetup with a shared vision: making Colorado number 1 in innovative digital technologies designed to transform healthcare & wellness. As Colorado and other states “push forward,” we will all be beneficiaries.
